Research




Research is an integral part of BPEF to pioneer innovations and conducts implementation research. A qualified team of Researchers and leadership committed to expanding the frontiers of knowledge and, more importantly, its application. 

BPEF has conducted many health researches. It has key personnel to implement the project with many years of experience in eye care including xerophthalmia for children's eye care subsequently scaled up to cover the whole population of the country, Seasonal hyperacute panuveitis-1984 a destructive eye disease is seen only in Nepal, Causes of Blindness and Visual Impairment among Students in Integrated Schools for the Blind in Nepal, Optical Needs of Students with Low Vision in Integrated Schools of Nepal, student-led screening for vision defects through a scientific study.
